C.J. Shaughnessy Crane Service is looking for a detail-oriented, critical thinking Accounting Associate to join our Team and support in-house finance and accounting functions.

The Accounting Associate will report directly to the CFO and support key functions including bookkeeping (Quickbooks), project accounting, collections, payables, payroll, and more.

You have:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or another Business field is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe PDF
- Experience with Quickbooks is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time while meeting deadlines
- Interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish effective professional relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including customers
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills
- Affinity for being organized

**Detailed Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Assist with Quickbooks data entries as needed
- Help manage vendor Bill Pay platform (Ramp) including setting up invoice approval levels, determining expense categories, and uploading/matching invoice packing slips
- Track customer purchase orders / subcontracts, project billing, and backlog
- Learn and support payroll and Unions dues/benefits remittances as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned or required. This position will require administrative tasks such as mailing invoices/statements, filing invoices, bills, etc.

**Compensation and Benefits**:
