Job Title: Medical Records Clerk

**Duties**:

- Organize and maintain patient medical records in accordance with established procedures and regulations.
- Retrieve and file medical records as requested by healthcare providers and staff.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of all medical records.
- Review medical records for completeness and accuracy, identifying any missing or inconsistent information.
- Assist in the coding and indexing of medical records for proper documentation and billing purposes.
- Respond to requests for medical records from authorized individuals or organizations, ensuring proper release of information protocols are followed.
- Maintain electronic health record systems, including scanning and indexing documents.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with medical records procedures.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with electronic health record systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
