In this role you will be expected to..
- DOCUMENTS ALL ACTIVITIES AND REVIEWS INDIVIDUAL RESIDENT ATTENDANCE AND PARTICIPATION RECORD WITH PROGRAM DIRECTOR.
- INVITES AND TRANSPORTS RESIDENT/GUEST TO AND FROM ACTIVITIES.
- REGULARLY PROVIDES AND DOCUMENTS MEANINGFUL 1:1 IN-ROOM VISITS IF INDICATED.
- PREPARATION FOR SPECIALIZED THERAPEUTIC PROGRAMMING.
- MAINTAINS AND CLEANS DEPARTMENT SUPPLIES AND MATERIALS AS ASSIGNED.
- ANSWERS ALL CALL BELL AND PLACES THEM IN REACH OF RESIDENT/GUEST.
- FILLS WATER PITCHERS WITH FRESH ICE WATER UNLESS CONTRAINDICATED.
- OFFERS SNACKS TO ALL RESIDENTS/GUESTS AND DOCUMENTS APPROPRIATELY.
- MONITORS RESIDENTS DURING SMOKING PERIODS WHEN ASSIGNED.
- DEMONSTRATES ABILITY TO DEESCALATE RESIDENT THROUGH VERBAL STRATEGIES, REDIRECTIONS AND CRISIS MANAGEMENT AND REPORT TO NURSE IMMEDIATELY.
- ASSIST WITH MEAL PASS IN A TIMELY MANNER.

Qualifications:

- H.S Diploma/ G.E.D
- Must be vaccinated for Covid-19/and or have an exemption for medical or religious reasons
- Preffered experience in Long-Term Care setting
