This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment within the healthcare food industry. If you have a passion for **Purchasing & Inventory Control** and enjoy working in a Hospital setting, we would love to hear from you.

Supervise the receiving process and the stocking of purchases.

Responsible for purchasing for the food and nutrition department.

Responsible for the verification of inventory accuracy levels in all locations of the department. Verify orders with invoices. Conduct a monthly inventory.

Operate moving equipment and place stock in correct locations using FIFO.

Supervise all receiving and stocking staff. Daily walk-through checking dates and labels for all items. Supervising staff to make sure processes are being followed. Responsible for 3-5 receiving employees and their schedules.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role within a hospital or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and Inventory Control best practices
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as assigned

**Education**:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

**Experience**:
Six months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
