As a key member of our food service team at Newbridgehealth, you will work under the guidance of the Food Service Supervisor to carry out a variety of essential duties related to patient dining, cafeteria operations, and dishwashing tasks.

  • Prepare and assemble food trays for both general and specialized dietary needs, ensuring that all meals meet the required standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized tray line to facilitate efficient service.
  • Transport food delivery carts to patient areas as scheduled and return them to the dishwashing area promptly.
  • Operate and load dishwashing machines in both patient and employee dining areas, and hand wash larger items as necessary.
  • Ensure that clean dishes and utensils are delivered to the appropriate kitchen sections.
  • Regularly clean and sanitize workspaces, including storage areas and refrigerators, to uphold hygiene standards.
  • Assist in the transportation of food and supplies across various locations within the facility.
  • Manage waste disposal by collecting and processing trash and garbage as directed.
  • Serve meals in diverse settings, including patient rooms, dining areas, and catered events.
  • As needed, maintain basic records and logs related to food service operations.
