**Line Sewing Supervisor**

Pacific Athletic Wear is a leading manufacturer of sportswear and prides itself on its quality.

Mon-Fri, 6am - 2:30pm
OT as needed.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Work with Sewing Floor Manager to sequence the line.
- Ensure the concept of line balancing is followed and not disrupted.
- Work with operators to meet daily production targets.
- Train operators to make operation on first line pieces.
- Work with sewing team to ensure cuts are sewn properly to meet quality requirements.
- Analyze and resolve sewing issues and assist team members in solving them.
- Direct team members to repair products that fail to meet quality standards.
- Assign tasks to team members and give clear specific directions and procedures to follow.
- Assist with questions related to work instructions and provide direction where needed.
- Ensure that the WIP is updated daily with department output.
- Communicate with Sewing Floor Manager on daily production requirements and/or additional tasks that require completion.
- Ensure thread stock is maintained.
- Assist in quality control on the production floor.
- Assist in the training of new employees, as needed.
- Communicate frequently with team members to address issues that impede safety, quality, or efficiency, including housekeeping of the sewing area.
- Responsible for discipline in the line

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a sewing machine operator.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
- Ability to read and understand all aspects of the Tech Packs in detail in English
- Must possess good verbal and written communication skills as well as basic computer skills required.
- Great attention to detail.
- MUST SPEAK SPANISH

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
