We are seeking a skilled Press Line Equipment Specialist to join our team at Mauser Packaging Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our press line equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Equipment Setup and Maintenance: Set up and maintain press line equipment, including punch presses, conveyor systems, compo liners, curlers, and automatic tape machines.
- Equipment Operation and Troubleshooting: Operate equipment, run sample units, check units, and make required operating adjustments. Troubleshoot and repair equipment, diagnose problems, disassemble, determine extent of repairs necessary, obtain or requisition parts, assemble, test, and make adjustments.
- Maintenance and Quality Control: Maintain equipment, clean and lubricate equipment, and maintain automatic lube systems. Monitor press line operations and check quality of units being produced.
- Record Keeping and Communication: Fulfill maintenance records and notify supervisor of unusual equipment or operating problems.
- Support Operations: Help relieve operators for lunch and break. Use various precision measuring instruments, common hand and hand power tools, hand carts, and forklift trucks.
- Adhere to Safety Protocols: Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Perform Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Experience: 2-3 years' experience in a related field.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of repair procedures and equipment operation, equivalent to 1-2 years applied trades training. Ability to exercise judgment and make recommendations for solutions.
- Physical and Environmental Demands: Physical agility and strength. Inside conditions, extremes of heat, exposure to humidity, working in tight areas, high noise levels from production environment, including some exposure to outside weather elements, oil, and dirt.
