**POSITION OVERVIEW**

Under supervision of the Program Director, the Tenant Services Coordinator is responsible for providing support to tenants and maintain monthly reporting requirements that will ensure compliance with the parameters of the program. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities as defined by the ADA to perform the essential functions of the job.

The position is Full-time, 35 hours a week generally, 8:30 - 4:30 Monday - Friday, with schedule adjustments as needed per program necessity.

**Pays:$50k per year**

**KEY FUNCTIONS**

Tenant Liaison Acts as liaison between participants, superintendents and building managers to ensure all repairs are completed to either the tenant's apartment or the building. Reports all issues with respect to the apartment and/or building to the program director, including incidents or occurrences requiring immediate attention. Tenant Support and Record Keeping
- Provide light touch case management, information, referrals, and advocacy to older adults; perform intakes/assessments under the review of a Licensed Social Worker home visits and provide case management to Promesa Virginia House constituents
- Collect and enter all participant and service unit data in database(s) thoroughly and timely, in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory mandates - Perform tabling and other outreach at neighborhood events
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned - Assessing older adult needs and developing care plan strategies
- Providing support and resources, good relationships with external providers and developing linkages to community resources
- Research and referrals based on the care plan goals - Assisting with benefits such as Access A Ride or Visiting Nurse services, Meals on Wheels - Responding to crisis situations, developing follow up report details and completing and submitting incident reports Title: Tenant Services Coordinator FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Department: Affordable Housing Union Status: Union Reports To: Program Director Weekly Hours: 35 Status: Full Time Schedule 8:30a-4:30P

**REQUIREMENTS**
- High School Diploma and 4 years minimum relevant demonstrated experience providing case management services to at risk populations i.e. (Older adults. Mental Health or Substance use) Required.
- Associate degree Preferred - Ability to use business acumen to exercise good judgment and decision-making
- Ability to deal with sensitive issues with diplomacy and discretion - Must be able to multitask with strong organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate both verbally and in written form
- Commitment to cultural diversity and sensitivity
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor under pressure, and operate with a keen sense of urgency and commitment to quality
- Willingness to perform other related duties as assigned
