The WBDC is hiring for a Director, Government Contracting Program and Services and Director, Illinois APEX Accelerators at the WBDC. This role is based in Richton Park, IL. This full-time, exempt position reports to the Managing Director, Government Contracting Program and Services.

**The Role**:
The Director, Government Contracting Program and Services develops and delivers programming that provides business development services and resources to established entrepreneurs, including those that are economically disadvantaged and underserved. The Director, Illinois APEX Accelerators supports the operations, deliverables, financials, and compliance with the Illinois APEX Accelerators at the Women?s Business Development Center.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities: _
- Plan and facilitate the WBDC APEX Accelerators program and services.
- Deliver client advising, including assessing client needs and providing support.
- Represent the WBDC at trade shows and events through networking, presentations, and public speaking.
- Work with marketing team to manage promotion of, and outreach for, workshops, events, and training sessions.
- Establish and maintain relationships with government agencies and other stakeholders.
- Manage grant funding, including proposals, deliverables, reporting, and financial analysis.
- Align with the WBDC?s overall strategic goals.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Required Qualifications and Experience_**_:_**
- Solid business and financial acumen
- Knowledge of and relationships with government entities and procurement procedures
- 5+ years of work experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor?s degree (advanced degree is preferred)
- Passionate about women?s issues and economic empowerment

The salary range for this position within the WBDC is $70,000 - $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and skillset.
