Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic

SeniorAccount Manager, Gov't Contracts to lead our efforts in selling products and services to government entities and public safety agencies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales growth, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and navigating complex procurement processes within the government and public safety sectors.

Responsibilities: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets within the government and public safety verticals. Identify and cultivate relationships with decision-makers and influencers in government agencies, including federal, state, and local levels, as well as public safety organizations such as police, fire, and emergency services. Position MIRA Safety within local, state, and federal Public Safety agencies to evangelize, contract, and support commercial relationships. Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to align sales efforts with market needs and customer feedback. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive land scape affecting government and public safety markets and adjust sales strategies accordingly. Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation and contract closure, ensuring timely and accurate forecasting and reporting of sales activities. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, effectively communicating value propositions and solutions tailored to the unique needs of government and public safety customers. Monitor government bid sites for commercial opportunities; participate in government tenders by submitting direct bidding documents; support our partner channel to participate in similar tender events. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, building brand awareness and fostering new business opportunities.

Qualifications: 5+ years of experience selling to government agencies and public safety organizations. Experience with government procurement processes, contracting mechanisms, and compliance. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales productivity tools to manage pipeline, track performance metrics, and generate actionable insights. Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend meetings, and participate in industry events. Existing relationships with decision makers in the Department of Defense, FEMA, military contractors, state and local police departments, fire departments, and or first responders. Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a college degree. The Director of Sales for Government and Public Safety Agencies plays a critical role in driving revenue growth and expanding market share within these key verticals.
