**Starting Pay Rate**: $24.00

**Summary**: The Parts Crib Attendant will order and maintain inventory of parts as well as follow our company's Good Manufacturing Practices.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.
- Enter data into the inventory system on receipts, consumption, and disbursement or parts.
- Contact vendors for needed repairs.
- Order and distribute parts for the maintenance department.
- Maintain stock parts and parts room in an organized and clean status.
- May assist with mold and neck tooling changes.
- Assist maintenance staff with mechanical repairs.
- Adhere to department budget and provide weekly reports to the department manager.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Familiarity with tools and mechanical/electrical components necessary for the position.
- Must be able to work with mínimal supervisory oversight, attentive to detail, and be highly organized.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- A High School diploma, Associates degree (or higher) in a technical field is strongly preferred.
- Five (5) years related experience supporting maintenance functions in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with inventory management systems preferred.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts in a production environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Temperatures inside the plant can fluctuate between hot and cold according to seasonal changes.
