Occupational Therapist Assistant

We are looking for Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our growing team in Tracy location. We offer a diverse caseload ranging from infants to 18 years in multidisciplinary clinic. Knowledge of sensory integration a plus. Occupational Therapy Assistant License (Required). Please do not apply if you do not have COTA license.
Job Description:
COTA will provide therapy under OTR supervision.
COTA contributes to evaluation process by reporting observations, current level of functioning, impairment and gathering of related data.
Communicates and collaborates with other professionals and families.
Provides documentation and maintains files of patients.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Education:
Associate (Preferred)
License/Certification:
Occupational Therapy Assistant License (Required)
Responsibilities
Read, understand, and follow all plans of care and therapy laid out for patients under your care
Assist patients with using adaptive equipment, modified exercises, and learning basic life skills
Assist Occupational Therapists with exercises, communication, and care coordination as needed
Assemble, clean, and maintain equipment and materials used on a daily basis
Attend care plans for patients, provide input, and go over patient care plans
Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and changes
Qualifications
Current state licensing for occupational therapy assistance required
Previous experience working in an occupational therapy setting desired
Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong time management skills
The ability to make decisions in a high-stress environment
