**What you’ll do**:
- Answering of telephones and satisfying customer requests with a friendly demeanor, and willingness to help at all times
- Support retail customers and contractors with their purchases, via design assistance (calculating square footage required), order entry and any future inquiries that arise
- Retrieve hand-selected product samples from designated sample area and loading into requesting customers vehicles
- Process all check and credit card transactions and ensure payments received balance daily
- Confirm orders for invoice processing and posting
- Review outstanding orders to check for status change on non-committed product at time of entry
- Assist with various mailings, especially those that occur pre-season
- Perform random tractor-trailer checks to ensure load accuracy before delivery
- Match authorized contractors to homeowners’ requests via the leads program
- Participate in and assist with cycle counting throughout the year, as well as yearly full yard counts
- Participate in and assist with on-site homeowner clearance sale
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required
**What you need to succeed**:
- Exceptional customer service skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Must have sound problem solving skills to effectively handle customer objections and questions
- Ability to manage competing priorities, work with strict deadlines, attend to projects, and work processes
- Ability to build effective relationships with all customers
- Ability to lift 30 pounds
