Pay Range: ADMITTING COORD III - $21.90 to $35.04

**Job Summary**:
The Admitting Coordinator III is responsible for pre-admitting, registration of patients, preparing patient accounts for billing, verifying insurance, collecting co-payments and patient demographic information for the Outpatient Wound Care Center. Responsibilities also include authorization and organization of home health and DME equipment, placing and tracking orders, coordination of vendors, center billing and billing audits, patient scheduling, weekly reporting, coordinating of special procedures, pre-operative care, surgeries, and hyperbaric medicine treatments.

**Licensure and Certification**:

- N/A

**Education**:

- High School graduate or GED equivalency

**Experience**:

- Customer service / medical office experience, knowledge of wound care, preferred

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Knowledge of special programs and promotions unique to the Wound Care Center
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Proficient reading, writing, grammar and math skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Basic computer skills
- Phone etiquette
- Teamwork skills

**Physical Demands - Clerical/Administrative Non-Patient Care**:

- Frequent sitting and standing/walking with frequent position change.
