Position Overview: The Early Childhood Teacher will play a pivotal role in shaping the early experiences of our children, fostering their cognitive, emotional, and physical growth. This role as a early childhood teacher, requires a genuine passion for early childhood education, a patient and nurturing demeanor, and a commitment to creating a positive, inclusive environment for all children.

Early Childhood Teacher Key Responsibilities:

- Curriculum and Learning
- Plan, implement, and adapt age-appropriate activities and lessons that stimulate early development.
- Regularly assess children’s progress and adapt teaching methods to suit individual needs.
- Infant, Toddler and Preschool age Child Care
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under your supervision.
- Provide basic care needs such as feeding, changing, and naptime routines.
- Attend to the emotional and comfort needs of infants and toddlers.
- Communication
- Establish and maintain open lines of communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child’s progress, behavior, and daily activities.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure continuity and consistency in care.
- Health and Safety
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
- Comply with all state regulations and center policies regarding health and safety.
- Conduct regular safety drills and know the protocols for emergencies.
- Professional Development
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Stay current with best practices and trends in early childhood education.

Early Childhood Teacher Qualifications:

- Early Childhood Teacher certified by EEC, or willingness to take trainings.
- Mandarin speaking(preferred, not required)
- Preferred, not required: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field preferred.
- Current certification in First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain).
- Experience working with infants and toddlers in a professional setting.
- Familiarity with Massachusetts child care regulations and standards.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patience, flexibility, and a love for working with young children.
- Teamwork
