**Summary**
The Rental & Lot Representative administers the equipment rental process at the dealership and ensures customers are provided with excellent service. The rental & lot representative partners with the service department for rental equipment maintenance and repairs. The rental & lot representative is responsible for all lot coordination duties and unloading of equipment deliveries. In addition, the rental & lot representative is responsible for all store related vehicles for employee usage, mileage tracking, fuel cards, and vehicle maintenance.
**Essential Functions**

- Models and supports the Service Motor Company's Mission, Vision, and Values.
- Administers the rental process, including monitoring machinery maintenance, completing rental contracts, obtaining payments, and scheduling.
- Arrange and coordinate the scheduling of rental deliveries and transfers in the traffic module in CDK.
- Trains customers and/or their employees on rental equipment functions and operations.
- Creates and oversees work orders generated for rental units to ensure the units are serviced before and after every rental.
- Coordinates and completes all check-in and check-out processes as part of the rental process.
- Communicates with Service Departments to ensure rental units are evaluated and maintained by the shop in a timely matter.
- Generates new leads for rental contracts through various channels i.e. cold calling, networking, referrals, etc.
- Provides customers with product brochures and literature.
- Assists with overflow of customer calls and walk-in customer traffic.
- Maintains rental equipment on the property to create an appealing display.
- Unloads equipment deliveries and stages equipment on the store property.
- Responsible for all lot coordination duties, including cleaning of rental and lot equipment.
- Oversees all vehicles at location, arranging employee usage, mileage reporting, fuel cards, and organizing maintenance
- Attends related product training sessions and meetings.
- Meets and/or exceeds goals for store rental program.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Required Education and/or Experience**
High School Diploma or equivalent
3 years of related experience in rental, customer service, or sales
**Preferred Education and/or Experience**
Associate degree or 2-year Technical Degree in a related field
3-5 years of related experience in rental, customer service, or sales
