Overview:
**Duties**:
- Lead and manage kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences
- Create innovative and appealing menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet high standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with the management team on budgeting, cost control, and pricing strategies
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on culinary techniques and safety procedures
- Coordinate with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and menu development
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide kitchen staff
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while upholding quality standards
- Certification from a culinary school or relevant field is preferred
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience in banquet or event catering
- Proficiency in bartending or mixology
- Background in food industry trends and customer preferences
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 - 6 per week
