- We are excited to announce that we are looking for a Full-time Medical Records_**_ _**_at our North Shore Gastroenterology Associates in Great Neck. NY._
- The_**_ Medical Records _**Under the direction of the Practice Administrator:
- Compiles, processes and maintains all Medical Records Requests
- Posts payments for Medical Record Requests
- Handles patient phone calls concerning medical records and patient portal trouble shooting.
- Handles Chart Audits for all practices
- May distribute faxes received to appropriate personnel
- Abides by all HIPAA, OSHA and related rules and regulations
- Performs other duties and works on other department initiatives, as assigned.
- help maintain authorizations for radiology up to date.
The** Medical Records** must have the following qualifications and experience:
- High School Diploma,
- Three (3) or more years related work experience, preferably within health and medical care delivery
