**General Summary**:
Serving as an advocate for regional high school workforce development in the communities we serve, the Talent Acquisition Specialist for Ace Electric’s high school initiatives will foster partner relationships, support programs, and build recruitment pipelines for careers in our industry. The position is occasionally directed in several aspects of the work but is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Reports to the HR Director.

**Preferred Job Skills**:

- Comfortable presenting to groups of 20-40 individuals.
- Able to demonstrate advanced computer and keyboard skills to include MS Office Suite.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain required levels of confidentiality when entrusted with sensitive business, customer, or employee related information.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to maintain high levels of productivity, meeting deadlines while maintaining accuracy.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinates with hiring managers to determine best strategies for their high school programs.
- Works to develop partnerships with high schools in the southeast region.
- Implements, builds, or maintains AMPED program partnerships with high schools.
- Coordinates with divisions to develop needs assessment for AMPED students.
- Promotion of the program via presentations and collaborative partnerships
- Identification, recruitment, and selection of the students who will be hired to participate.
- Involves parents and teachers to foster relationships and build strong community connections
- Organize the signing event for the selected students.
- Coordinates Ace’s participation in skills challenges and similar competitions in high schools.
- Identify and recruit skilled high school students for Ace.
- Plans and organizes high school field trips to Ace Engineering & Fabrication.
- Seeks out programs or develops collaborative efforts with area high schools.
- Participates in high school career fairs.
- May create and deliver presentations/reports on program success to executives, community groups, media, and peer groups.
- Collaborating with Marketing, keeps company websites for high school programs updated and social media posts submitted.
- Maintains log of recruitment activities for affirmative action plan.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

**Position Requirements**:

- License: Valid state driver's license as required by job conditions or by the company.
- Education: High School Graduate/GED required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruitment or equivalent combination of education and experience.

**Working Conditions**:

- Work in a climate-controlled office setting with varying degrees of stress and time pressure.
- Considerable amount of time making repetitive motions.
- Considerable amount of time sitting and standing.
- Considerable amount of time using telephone and computer.
- Sounds, noise levels may be distracting or uncomfortable.
- Ability to travel with overnight stays is required. Overnight travel 10%, regional travel 40%.
