Redbird, a leading retailer in Chicago, is seeking a friendly and reliable Cashier/Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Cashier/Customer Service Representative at Redbird, you will be responsible for ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers by offering exceptional service and support.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries and purchases
- Operate the cash register to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Resolve customer issues and complaints in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area
- Assist with stocking shelves and organizing merchandise
- Provide product recommendations and information to customers
- Promote store promotions, loyalty programs, and special offers
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and targets
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent numerical and cash handling skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent
