**What the Accounts Payable Specialist Does Each Day**:

- Treatment of accruals, and accurate and timely payments to vendors
- Examines all direct purchase paperwork for units being acquired into inventory; calculates any outstanding fees, creates file, and properly records into the accounting system
- Responsible for reconciling all cash accounts daily
- Prepare and distribute monthly payables distribution reports by department
- Prepare monthly financial operating expense reports for management
- Research expenses to resolve errors regarding account reconciliation
- Review and track all center expenditure and encumbrances
- Performs other duties as assigned by management Process accurate recognition and classification of expenditures by account and department, accurate

**Minimum Requirements for this Role**:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant discipline
- Able to successfully complete a drug and background check
- 2-3 years of high-volume A/P experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- General accounting knowledge (A/R, G/L)
- Experience with ERP systems required, Infor system preferred
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; QuVa is not able to sponsor applicants for work visas
