**DESCRIPTION OF WORK**:

- As a Tax Examiner 1, you will join the Bureau of Individual Taxes, Taxpayer Accounting Division in their responsibility for the examination, processing, and review of correspondence in response to individual tax notices. Our on-the-job training is designed to develop your technical knowledge and skills in these processes and provide you with a thorough understanding of state tax laws, regulations, and procedures.

**Work Schedule and Additional Information**:

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- ** Telework**:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time after successfully completing 6 months of inhouse training. Full-time telework includes one required in-office day per month. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
