**Green Acres Nursing and Rehab** seeks a skilled Assistant Business Office Manager/Medicaid Specialist to assist in overseeing financial and administrative operations. Your expertise in financial management, billing, and regulatory compliance will ensure smooth functioning while providing excellent support to residents, staff, and families.

**Duties**:

- Assist in managing office operations and procedures
- Handle clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
- Support payroll processing and maintain accurate records
- Assist with human resources functions including employee onboarding and benefits administration
- Coordinate vendor management activities and maintain relationships
- Provide administrative support to the business manager
- Answer phones professionally and direct calls as necessary
- Assist in training and development programs for staff
- Meet with residents and families to complete the Medicaid process
- Maintain Medicaid Pending logs
- Make bank deposits, as requested.
- Receive and receipt private, resident portions and Medicaid payments on residents’ bills.

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in office management and scheduling
- Strong clerical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with payroll processing and human resources tasks
- Knowledge of vendor management practices
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Administrative capabilities to support daily operations
- Excellent phone etiquette for effective communication
- Ability to assist in training and development initiatives
