**Position: Bookkeeper**
**Type: Full-Time, Salary**
**Reports To**: Executive Director
**Summary**
Responsible for management and oversight of all accounts payable and receivable processes, data entry, administrative support, customer service, and maintaining accurate and complete financial records for Illinois College of Emergency (ICEP) and International Trauma Life Support (ITLS).
Confidentiality, efficient time management, excellent organizational skills, and attention to accuracy are essential qualifications for this position, as is the ability to communicate clearly.
Based on the duties described below, **this is a full-time, exempt, hybrid position.**
Duties, responsibilities, and special projects may include but are not limited to the following:
**Financial & Accounting**
- Oversee all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables processes.
- Manage the generation of all financial statements including monthly journal entries, balance sheets, income statements, budgets, special reports and related tasks.
- Assist accounting and finance team with all accounting services, bank accounts, deposits and records separate from other business activities.
- Provide sales report to Pearson of manuals sold by ITLS.
- Assist accounting and finance team with record keeping of all inventory items and inventory reconciliation.
- Assist with lead royalty accounting and record keeping.
- Maintain record keeping of number of students trained per year.
- Serve as customer support to vendors, chapters, and others.
**Chapter/Training Centre Development and Support**
- Assist ITLS chapter relations team with data entry and management of Course Management System (CMS) to track courses, training.
- Download new CMS reports and make journal entries.
**General/Administrative**
- Provide administrative support to ICEP team as needed.
- Develop procedures manual for all responsibilities of this position.
- Assist Executive Director with creating meeting agendas and minutes for ITLS Board of Directors or Finance Committee Meetings.
- Serve as primary staff liaison to ITLS Finance Committee.
- Perform all other job-related duties as required or assigned.
Pay: $56,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
