**JOB BRIEF**

An Account Manager, will play a vital role in fostering strong relationships with our valued customers, driving sales, and promoting the adoption of our embedded boards in various industries.

**ROLE OBJECTIVE**

Account Manager for an Industrial PC Manufacturer is to establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive sales, promote customer loyalty, and ensure the successful adoption of the company’s embedded boards and related solutions.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES **include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Develops and implements strategic regional sales plans.
- Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
- Directs channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
- Advises dealers, distributors, and clients concerning sales and advertising techniques.
- Directs product simplification and standardization to eliminate unprofitable items from sales line.
- Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product.
- Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
- Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
- Coordinates liaison between sales department and other sales related units.
- Analyzes and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.
- Assists other departments within organization to prepare manuals and technical publications.
- Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
- Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
- Must adhere to Quality Management System.

**QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES**:

- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge of computer hardware in IT Industry.
- Experience with ODM design services is a plus.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
- Strong verbal, written and communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and possesses general computer knowledge. SAP is a plus.
- Bilingual (English and Mandarin) is a plus, to facilitate communication between HQ and international departments.
