Pay Rate: $18.00-$20.00 an hour

**Responsibilities**:
l Recording financial transactions, verifying and reconciling account balances, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data.
l Prepare expense management report
l Maintain paperwork and financial records related to all tax returns
l Review and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns and payments for multiple states
l Review financial data to ensure accuracy
l Work with auditors to perform internal or external audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and to identify any discrepancies
l Strong analytical and problem-resolution skills to manage and reconcile large volumes of financial data
l Provide support for other accounting functions as needed
**Job requirements**:
l Excellent Microsoft Office Skill
l Familiarity with accounting/tax softwares, like Quickbooks, Avalara
l Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
l Excellent analytical and time management skills
l High attention to detail and ability to manage tasks simultaneously
l Highly organized, detail oriented and have excellent problem solving and planning skills
l Ability to self-start and self-direct in an unstructured environment
l Excellent teamwork skills and capable of working independently
l Strong ability to negotiate and resolve issues/problems
l Must have a proactive, positive attitude and be comfortable working in a fast paced, growth-oriented environment
l Positive attitude and are motivated to do the best work possible
l Strong written and verbal communication skills and are able to interact in a positive and professional manner at all times
l Ability to work under pressure and perform tasks as required
l Tax or Audit work experience is preferred
l Associate degree is preferred
