**About this Position**:
The Dealer Technical Support Department Lead position is responsible for leading all business operations for the following 3 units:

- Market Data Quality Unit
- Market Quality Engineering Unit
- Tech Line Unit

This job contributes to the overall mission and goals of AHM by directly supporting the following Business Unit Midterm Strategies:

- 23-25 Midterm Parts, Service, and Technical Business Unit Strategic Directions:

- Achieve industry leading Customer Satisfaction by quickly understanding and responding to customer needs. (Level 1 Business Plan Objective)
- Strengthen Product Quality Reputation in order to meet Customer Expectations (Level 2 Business Plan Objective)

**Responsibilities include**:

- Lead action to establish and execute yearly Department and Unit business plan objectives that support PS&T Business Unit and AH business plan objectives in key strategic and operational areas, including the following:

- Strengthen vehicle quality reputation in order to meet customer expectations.
- Strengthen department and unit operational effectiveness and agility.
- Prepare for the transition to the BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) era.
- Optimize functional unit goal achievement by establishing effective KPIs, rotating PDCA, and performing CAPDo reporting with an emphasis on the following core functions:

- Market Data Quality Unit: Increase the accuracy of quality data from the market.
- Market Quality Engineering Unit: Increase in-market repair process efficiency.
- Tech Line Unit: Improve call quality and response time.
- As a member of the Technical Division Leadership Team, engage in activities that support Division operational efficiency initiatives, best practice identification, resource optimization, and strategic enhancement.

**Who we are seeking**:
**Required Work Experience**:

- 10-15 years of experience in parts, service, or technical business functions with the understanding of market level processes
- Understanding of automotive business structure with specific expertise in quality management or market related vehicle problems
- 5-7 years of experience at the department (unit) Manager or Asst. Manager level

**Required Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience

**Desired skills**:

- Knowledge of the global Honda market quality improvement structure, processes, and responsibilities
- Knowledge of Honda/Acura dealer operations and vehicle repair processes
- Knowledge of advance automobile systems
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory issues that pertain to automobile business
- Knowledge of ACS, Field, and Dealer operations
- Advanced project management skills
- Strong collaboration, communication, technical, and negotiation skills
- Strong people management and development skills
