Who We Are:
Streamline Funding Group LLC, in operation since 2002, is an Austin-based private lender/mortgage broker serving Texas real estate investors who acquire, refinance, renovate, or construct single and multi-unit residential properties. Our sister company Private Lender Network LLC services the current loan portfolio with capital provided from various managed funds or direct investors. Our infrastructure is in place and we are ready to grow as we scale our lending operations across the U.S.
Position Summary:
Streamline Funding is looking for a Loan Officer to generate new business and manage broker partners from the Austin main office. The Loan Officer will perform a hybrid role of inbound and outbound sales with a focus on lead generation. The team will drive deals through the loan pipeline by coordinating with borrowers, capital partners, underwriting & closing teams. The Loan Officer will play a role in evaluating due diligence items from borrowers, organizing files and working with all team members to complete final approval on loan requests.
**Responsibilities**:
**Loan Origination**
Generate leads and communicate with borrowers, brokers, real estate professionals and other referral sources.
Structure financing solutions tailored to the needs of borrowers while ensuring alignment with established underwriting guidelines.
Note - The underwriting & final approval process is supported by local team members and remote 3rd parties.
**Pipeline Management**
Communicate effectively with borrowers and internal stakeholders to provide updates on loan statuses and address any concerns or inquiries.
**Underwriting and Risk Management**
Conduct thorough analysis of borrower financials, collateral and other relevant factors to assess loan feasibility.
Work closely with the underwriting team to review and analyze loan documents, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines.
**Relationship Management**
Cultivate strong relationships with borrowers, brokers and other industry professionals to drive business growth and foster repeat business opportunities.
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan process, addressing inquiries, resolving obstacles and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
**Compliance and Documentation**
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and internal policies governing private lending activities.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive borrower records, loan files and checklists in accordance with company standards and industry best practices.
**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration or related field preferred.
2 years of experience in private lending, mortgage banking, real estate or related sales industry preferred.
Strong understanding of real estate finance, underwriting principles and lending practices.
Proven track record of success in sales, loan origination, business development and relationship management.
Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in MS Office suite and loan origination software preferred.
**Compensation**:
Based on relevant experience. Base pay with commission for target total compensation as team loan production milestones are reached. ($50,000 to $250,000)
