Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Residential Mortgage Loan Officer Support Specialist to join our builder financing division, M/I Financial, LLC. This role is based in Austin, Texas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist loan officers in the preparation and submission of FHA, VA, and Conventional loan applications for automated approval.
- Maintain a small pipeline of loans for qualified candidates.
- Collaborate closely with loan officers, builder sales representatives, and homebuyers to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Communicate effectively with customers to gather necessary documentation and address inquiries.
- Analyze AUS findings and ensure all required documentation is in order.
- Prequalify potential borrowers as needed.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A valid NMLS and Texas SML Mortgage Loan Originator License.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for diverse customer interactions.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a purchase-focused mortgage origination role.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret underwriting guidelines and requirements.
