Job Summary:
The Department of Economic Security, Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Program Support Administrator (OIFA Administrator). DDD provides individuals with developmental disabilities, and their families, services and supports that are flexible, high quality, and member driven. These services empower individuals with developmental disabilities to lead self-directed, healthy, and meaningful lives.

Applicants for this position cannot be licensed or certified by the DDD Office of Licensing Certification and Regulation, cannot have a principal interest in or have a spouse or a close family with principal interest in a DDD Qualified Vendor Agreement, and cannot be employed or subcontracted by a DDD Qualified Vendor.

Job Duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Provides leadership and supervision to the CARES Behavioral Health Advocacy area and the CARES Administration Liaison Manager; ensures performance measures are developed, tracked, maintained, and updated for each area of their responsibilities and follow the AMS continuous improvement principles.
- Ensures timely, accurate submission of all AHCCCS deliverables related to OIFA activities and meets all requirements in the AHCCCS contract as OIFA Administrator. This position participates and collaborates as a member of the OIFA Alliance in all AHCCCS and OIFA Alliance projects, initiatives, and events.
- Directs and educates internal and external stakeholders interested in creating system enhancements in the DDD programs, policies, and practices. Facilitates the DDD Self-Advocate group and Member Advisory Council for families and stakeholders and identifies opportunities for member and family member participation in committees, work groups, and meetings.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
Knowledge in:

- Federal and state statutes applicable to the care and treatment of persons with developmental disabilities.
- Division's policies, procedures, and process.
- Home and community-based services provided to people with developmental disabilities.
- Behavioral Health Principals and Systems of Care in Arizona and Trauma Informed Care.

Skills in:

- High level of expertise in leadership, management, coaching, and supervision.
- Oral and written communication
- Problem solving.

Ability to:

- Adapt to changing priorities, multi-task and meet timelines.
- Prepare reports with mínimal corrections Read, comprehend, and interpret policies and procedures.
- Work with diverse individuals, advocacy groups, Governor's office, and others

Selective Preference(s):

- A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field or equivalent years of experience; three or more years of supervisory experience; lived experience navigating a public behavioral health system for themselves or for a family member; experience working with I/DD, family members, advocates, and governmental agencies.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

- This position must be located in Arizona and have lived experience receiving behavioral health services and/or lived experience as a family member who is a primary caregiver or natural support and experienced in navigating a public behavioral health system; must have experience in cultivating relationships with individuals, including members, families, youth, advocates, and other community members; works within the Division to promote a vision of recovery, resiliency, empowerment, and wellness; and must comply with the requirements outlined in the AHCCCS contract for the OIFA Administrator.
- Travel may be required for State business. Employees who drive on state business must complete any required driver training (see Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207.12.) AND have an acceptable driving record in accordance with DES Fleet Management-Safety Program policy and procedures (DES 1-07-26 & DES 1-07-26-01). Employees may be required to use their own transportation as well as maintaining valid motor vehicle insurance and current Arizona vehicle registration; however, mileage will be reimbursed.
