System Administrator and Support

JOB TITLE: System Administrator and SupportDEPARTMENT: IT REPORTS TO: VP of Engineering and SupportSTART DATE: ImmediatelyHOURS: M-F (8a – 5p)SALARY: $85,000 Annual SalaryWORK LOCATION: Hybrid (remote for 3-days a week & in-office located in Phoenix, AZ for 2-days a week) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support Responsibilities:
- Position will provide I.T. Support for the organization’s staff members, doctors, external clients and general infrastructure during the weekday business hours to maintain business continuity.
- Upon being contacted for support, the incident will be documented in the organization’s ticket tracking system along with the troubleshooting approach and resolution steps. Escalation procedures may be required for certain types of incidents.
The scope of IT Support will generally focus, but not necessarily limited to the following:
- Doctors & Operations Staff Members: Hardware (e.g. monitors, input devices, workstations, microphones, ISP, phones etc. Software (e.g. Carestream PACs, RIS, rScriptor, SimpleHelp
Remote Access, Office 365 Suite, Fluency Voice Dictation, Dicomsys, etc.). New User Setup (e.g. account creation on various systems)
- External Clients: VPN Tunnels, Image Integrity (DICOM Transmission) using DicomSYS & RamSoft, RIS and Carestream Support
- Infrastructure: Data Center ISP(s), Hardware and VMWare
- Software: Deployment of new or updated software to the organization’s end users
- Troubleshooting may involve interfacing with external clients, software vendors and other external partners.
- Contribute in updating and maintaining the organization’s core knowledge base and inventory tracker.
- Be present in the corporate office for various support tasks such as setting up hardware (e.g. phone, computers, etc.) for new employees.
- Some emergency onsite support with doctors may be required during business hours and rarely outside of business hours. Reliable form of transportation is required.
- Management of Active Directory and Microsoft 365 Mail Administration Hybrid Environment, including but not limited to the creation, management, and termination of user accounts and user groups, Azure administration, SharePoint administration.
- Management of DICOM Infrastructure, both on site and remote support, configuration, and troubleshooting image transmission issues, working with multiple vendors and hospital IT staff to resolve problems.
- Be a backup to be on-call for Weekend/Holiday/Outside of Business Hours (current rotation is for one week, every 5 weeks).
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
