Santa Barbara Infrared, Inc. (SBIR) is recruiting an experienced and motivated Electro-Optics Assembler for our manufacturing team.

$25/hr. - $30/hr. - Full-Time

**Responsibilities - Electro-Optics Assembler**
- Assembly and modification for prototype and custom electronic parts and opto-mechanical systems.
- Handling, mounting, protecting and cleaning of sensitive optics such as Off Axis Parabola mirrors
- Soldering components to printed circuit boards and fabricated metal items, as specified by work orders, diagrams or layout.
- Assembly of routes and ties wires to form wire harness (cable) used in electrical and electronic equipment or systems.
- Assembly of mechanical assemblies, which may include but are not limited to: fabricated metal items, electrical wires, circuit boards, mirrors, filters and windows.

**Requirements**:
**Requirements - Electro-Optics Assembler**
- Five plus years of assembly experience.
- The ability to work full time.
