POSITION SUMMARY:

The Electro-Mechanical Assembler plays a crucial role in the assembly of high-performance underwater acoustics systems, meticulously constructing electro-mechanical systems and components in accordance with engineering specifications and blueprints.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform soldering of PWA components, surface mount components, cable assemblies, and connectors.
  • Execute detailed mechanical and electrical assembly tasks, including wiring, soldering, and component installation.
  • Conduct preparatory work such as wire preparation, stringing cable assemblies, and sandblasting.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of one year of soldering experience.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • IPC-J-STD certification.
  • Experience in interpreting technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with measuring instruments, including digital indicators and microscopes.
  • Proficiency in working with adhesives.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.

Compensation: The pay range for this position is $20-$35/hour, influenced by various factors such as role responsibilities, candidate experience, location, education, and key skills.
