**Job Summary**:
As an Authorization Specialist, you will be responsible for verifying insurance coverage, obtaining pre-authorizations for medical procedures, and coordinating with healthcare providers to ensure timely approval for patient treatments. You will work closely with insurance companies, medical staff, and patients to facilitate the authorization process effectively.

**Responsibilities**:

- Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients
- Obtain pre-authorizations for medical procedures and treatments
- Communicate with healthcare providers to gather necessary documentation for authorization requests
- Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and company policies
- Maintain accurate records of authorization requests and approvals
- Assist patients in understanding their insurance coverage and authorization status
- Collaborate with billing department to resolve any authorization-related issues

**Skills**:
