Front Desk Receptionist/assistant

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for accurately and professionally handling all front desk operations including answering phones, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, addressing routine inquiries, and forwarding non-routine requests to appropriate personnel.
- Prepares necessary paperwork prior to patient’s appointment.
- Works with patients to obtain updated information.
- Identifies payer sources, verifies insurance and obtain eligibility.
- Will be responsible for keeping the reception area clean and organized.
- Recording and collecting patient copays and/or balances at check-in/out.
- Protects patients’ rights by maintaining the confidentiality of personal and financial information.
- Follows company policies and procedures.
- Contributes as a team player.
- Demonstrates superior customer service skills.
- Communicates with patients, visitors, providers, and team members in a courteous, professional, cooperative, and mature manner.
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
