We are the Peoria Jr Panthers youth tackle football team and We are seeking a passionate and experienced DL Coach to join our team. Could possibly be a DC role. We practice Tuesday & Thursday 6-8 PM & game days on Saturday

This is a volunteer position.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and conduct football practices, drills, and training sessions
- Teach athletes the rules, techniques, and strategies of football
- Develop individualized training programs to enhance players' skills and performance
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to athletes to help them improve
- Discussing game strategies and tactics
- Coordinate with other coaches to ensure effective team communication and collaboration
- Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and respect among athletes
- Ensure the safety of all players during practices and games

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Football Coach or in a similar coaching role
- Extensive knowledge of football rules, techniques, and strategies
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire athletes to reach their full potential
- Experience working with students or in a childcare setting is preferred
- Ability to work with others and be a team player within the staff
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is desirable
- Must be dependable
