Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Aquatics Head Swim Team Coach to lead our Swim Team program. As a key member of our Aquatics team, you will be responsible for creating a safe and educational experience for our participants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement swim team group workouts according to the season plan
  • Train and mentor swim team coaches to ensure high-quality coaching
  • Oversee the registration process for new participants and maintain the cleanliness and organization of our Aquatics facilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to member inquiries regarding our programs and services
  • Promote and sell our Aquatics programs and services to members
  • Collaborate with the Aquatics Department Head, USA Swimming, and parents to ensure a positive and supportive team environment
  • Participate in regular meetings with the Aquatics Manager to discuss program development and member feedback

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of swim coaching experience
  • Member of ASCA and USA Swimming
  • Safety Training for Swim Coaches certification
  • CPR/AED certification
  • Lifeguard Certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and move about the club for prolonged periods
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Swim lesson instruction experience
  • Customer service experience
  • ASCA Level 2 Certification or higher
