Wide Format Digital Print Specialist

Cornerstone Sign & Decal is seeking a full time Wide Format Digital Print Specialist / Sign Production Associate.
Job responsibilities include:
- Operation and maintenance of equipment, includes wide format printers Mimaki JV330, EFI VUTEk 10ft Flatbed, laminators, vinyl plotters, and other cutting equipment.
- Follow work order instructions to produce signs and graphics.
- Adjust electronic art files to be production ready.
- Prepares substrates for production, which may include, measuring, cutting, cleaning.
- Performs quality assurance measures pre
- and post-production
- Work on different projects simultaneously
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes
Qualifications:
- Technical School graduate is preferred, but not required
- Experience in the sign industry is preferred, but not required
- Experience with some graphics software is required. (Such as Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, Photoshop, etc...)
- Eye for quality control
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong ability to learn new software and use computers
- Decent math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers and fractions and converting fractions to decimals and vice versa)
- Able to read a ruler.
- Able to lift 50 or more pounds
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to use small power tools
- A valid drivers license
Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday
Starting pay of $20 per hour depending on skill / experience
Location: Louisville East End - Bluegrass Industrial Park

We are a professional well established and growing custom sign and graphics company that specializes in interior signs, large format digital printing, and decals for commercial and industrial accounts. We are a small company of 12 team members. In a small business environment, we sometimes have to wear many hats.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
