Marketing Specialist - Content Strategist

Location: Hybrid - Manhattan, New York

About Us: We are seeking a talented and driven Content Strategist to join our team. This role will be responsible for driving the ideation and execution of our social-led content strategy for two special projects: the upcoming Fashion Show and the launch of a dedicated new Instagram handle for our sport brand. The ideal candidate is experienced in the world of content planning and creation, with a strong background in bringing innovative social media ideas to life.

Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Director of Social, interpreting fashion show and sport strategies to conceptualize and create content plans that align with strategy, marketing goals, and brand messaging guidelines.
  • Assist in developing and mapping seasonal strategies to support the fashion show, including content plans, audience engagement, and reporting.
  • Manage the launch of a new sport Instagram handle, including the execution of follower acquisition strategies, content planning, engagement, and reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with the broader social team to ensure integration and cohesion with the social content calendar.
  • Partner with creative counterparts in all aspects of content planning, filming, and execution.
  • Coordinate with internal team members involved in content creation and planning, such as Creative, Production, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Attend and travel to events and activations as needed to capture and post content.
  • Manage all scheduling and posting related to the fashion show.
  • Provide monthly analytics reports on content performance, with additional reporting on a daily or weekly basis as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media within a professional environment.
  • Proficiency with TikTok and Instagram platform algorithms and a strong understanding of social media marketing.
  • Ability to work in-person at our New York office.
  • Strong understanding of the brand and aesthetic, with the ability to articulate this into a social strategy and narrative.
  • Excellent storytelling and creative skills.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Additional Information:

  • Opportunity to extend further to cover maternity leave.
  • This role will be part of the social media team, reporting to the Director of Social. The candidate will closely collaborate with three counterparts: a manager, a senior specialist, a specialist, and an intern.
