**Overview**
Improves market awareness and supports community presence for VNS Health Plans through the planning, coordination and implementation of presentations, events and grassroots strategies to enhance product visibility. Ensures successful membership enrollment in Plan based on eligibility if consumer chooses. Works under general supervision.
**Compensation**:
$70,200.00 - $87,700.00 Annual

**What You Will Do**
- Charters, formulates and administers events and activities, such as tabling at street fairs, participating in community-established health fairs, presentations around health education, etc., designed to enhance the visibility of VNS Health Plans in the community. Assesses effectiveness of programs and events and advises Outreach and Partnership Development management on improvements to events and strategies to increase product visibility. Maintains some scheduled presence at network provider locations.
- Leads publicity and promotional efforts for community events to deliver adequate notice to potential participants and to drive event attendance and effectiveness in conjunction with marketing department.
- Evaluates and sets schedule and pace of events.
- Establishes and cultivates relationships with Community Based Organizations (CBO) and Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) in conjunction with partnership outreach advocates. Participates in CBO boards, committees and activities to promote community presence and VNS Health footprint.
- Attends weekday, and at times weekend community and/or VNS Health developed events to answer existing and potential member questions, and provide in-person member orientations if needed.
- Collaborates with Partnership Development team and CBO staff to determine and/or partner with specific event(s).
- Coordinates informational presentations and educates community groups and the public about VNS Health Plan products.
- Meets and reviews individual monthly goals, event development, and objectives.
- Helps identify potential community partners and opportunities that may support referrals to VNS Health Plans.
- Drafts and presents business plan for assigned territory to VNS Health Community Outreach and Partnership Development management.
- Identifies and classifies appropriate campaigns and sponsorships by gathering and assessing pertinent data from the community and contacts, and collaborating with Partnership Development team and management.
- Demonstrates familiarity with, and remains updated with respect to, laws, regulations, and policies around VNS Health Plans marketing and enrollment activities. Stays current on all new marketing policies as designated by NYS dept of Health and CMS and adheres to governing regulations.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications** Licenses and Certifications**:

- NYS Accident and Health Insurance License required
- Valid driver’s license and access to a motor vehicle preferred

**Education**:

- Associate's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, a related field, or the equivalent work experience required
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, a related field, or the equivalent work experience preferred

**Work Experience**:

- Minimum of three years’ experience in marketing, sales, public relations, community relations, fund-raising, or other relevant experience. required and
- Experience in health care or health insurance setting highly. preferred
