TheDirector of StoreProcess Engineeringleadsdesign and implementation ofoperational best practices for our storesfromidentifyingopportunities for processimprovementandsimplification throughto testing and implementingenhancements to deliver a best-in-class associateandcustomer experience. The roleis responsible fordelivering specific profit improvement targetsand supporting sales growth across >1,000 Burlington stores in collaboration with Field, AP, IT, Supply Chain, and other functions.The right individual will be quantitatively minded,expert at process engineering, and comfortable problem solving strategically at scale andat detailed nuanced levelon the store floor.

**A Day in the Life**:

- **Process improvement**: Develop best practicesto step changeall operating areas of a store - back room, selling floor, fitting rooms, checkout, etc. Leverage industry knowledge/information and input from external partners.Collaboratewith other teams toencode and implementthe bestpractices suchas Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- **Labor standards**: Create andmaintainengineered labor standards such that all processes have well defined expectations and quantifiable measures. Drive process consistency across the store network with flexibility for specific local conditions.Ensure process standards are always current as business and operating conditions change and new initiatives are implemented.
- **Test and measure**: Develop business cases, test plans, performance measurements, and rollout models to deliver process and tool changes at scale.Secure buy-infrom stakeholders and resources from collaborators to drive investments and value for the business.
- **Cross-functional collaboration** : Engageclosely with stores/field,Asset Protection,Supply Chain, HR, Finance, and other functions to define and solvefor improvement opportunities.
- **People development** : Train, coach, and performance manage teams within the function and mentor individuals in related functions. Establish internal processes to foster professional growth and capability development to create a high-performing function.

**You Come With**:

- Min3-5 years of experience post advanced degree or8-10 yearspost B.A.
- Leadership roles instrategic and analytical functions, e.g.,Continuous Improvement, Process Engineering, Store Operations, Supply Chain,Strategy, Finance
- Proven experience inidentifyingand implementing operational best practices in a retail environment across different store sizes, operating models, andmarkets
- Experience in leading organizational change on a large scale, with a focus on measurement, standards, and best practices.
- Practical experience with executing improvements through Engineered Labor Standards andWorkForceManagement (WFM) systems
