Felines & Canines is expanding our team We’re looking for 1-2 part or full time (24-38+ hours - 3-5 days per week) Adoption Counselors to join our ever growing programs Our Adoption Counselors are responsible for all interactions with our adopters, knowing each animal's unique personality, and succeeding in the matchmaking of placing cats & dogs into their loving forever homes Our Adoption counselors also take care of the health, medication, wellbeing, & sanitation of our animals and their spaces. You'll be working hands on with both cats & dogs with a lot of fun, and a great deal of physical work & scrubbing too Our Adoption Counselors should be comfortable interacting with the public in a customer service position, be open minded, quick on their feet, and ready to work closely with all other members of staff.
Our Adoption Counselors will begin with training on our Care Crew Shifts, to gain full knowledge of the operations of our facility before moving into their counseling positions.
Must be 18 years old with weekend availability, and most importantly a love for the animals, our mission of continuing to save at risk animals and placing them into their loving forever homes We have a small, fun loving team that's quick on their feet, very easy going, and surrounded by some of the best animals you could ever meet Applicants must have a good comfort level with BOTH cats & dogs and the MESSY MESS they make
