Health Coach

The Health and Wellness Coach is responsible for participant outreach to discuss lab results and provide recommendations based on individual client coaching programs. Coaches will teach and guide participants on how to achieve their wellness goals and further understand a newly discovered or existing condition. Recommendations would provide information about an individual’s results and/or condition and provide support to promote behavior, habit or lifestyle changes, and/or recommendations with regard to physician conversations. Coaches are also responsible for assisting with onsite coaching events, webinars and other coaching-related products provided by CHC Wellbeing as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Important responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Health and Wellness Coaching
- Health coaching and lab test reviews, per individual, one-on-one basis via phone.
- Accessing individual health information via HIPPA compliant software.
- Implement 3-step process in coaching individuals, in which you will receive training.
- Assisting individuals in problem solving in relation to lifestyle challenges and/or ambivalence.
- Charting/documenting notes and updates within software system on as needed basis.
- Must be prompt, well organized and able to provide updated notes in a timely manner.
- Weekly and/or monthly reporting required.
- May include opportunities to give onsite educational health presentations on various topics.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

- Experience in giving interpretations on common and comprehensive lab test results in relation to lifestyle habits (not diagnosing or treating).
- Passionate about educating and encouraging individuals one-on-one to make lifestyle changes that can lead to health improvement.
- Experience in motivational interviewing to promote and support stages of change
- Provide support and encouragement through active and reflective listening
- Self-driven, well organized individual willing to learn new approaches and skills.
- Access to reliable internet, computer and phone.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

- Experience in the wellness field/industry is preferred
- Registered or licensed Dietician or Nurse, or extensive background experience with strong certifications.
- Previous experience in vaccine management and inventory management experience a plus

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
