Title: Operations and Initiatives Manager

Reports to: Director of Agency Operations and Initiatives

Hours: Exempt position; Includes some evenings and weekends.

Location: The Council on Recovery

The Operations and Initiatives Manager will support and assist the Director of Agency Operations and Initiatives to ensure that our business is well coordinated and productive by managing its procedures and training its people. The Operations and Initiatives Manager will assist in the implementation of agency initiatives, as well as daily workflows for agency-wide processes, to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assist with documentation and implementation of agency processes, procedures, workflows and policies as directed by supervisor
- Provide and/or develop trainings related to agency processes, for existing and new employees as directed by supervisor
- Be a thought partner on operational improvements with the Director of Agency Operations and Initiatives and other agency leaders
- Support strategic initiatives to ensure effectiveness and efficiency, while allowing for scalability and adaptability
- Manage CARF required documentation and tracking annual updates
- Help meet targets for process improvement by organizing and planning meetings, and following up on assignments
- Support and assist with Electronic Health Record and database management, training, implementation, reporting and support

**Requirements**:

- Process or Program management experience required
- Computer skills required
- Experience developing trainings
- Good presentation skills
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Experience in the field of substance use disorders preferred
- CARF or other accreditation/licensing experience preferred
- EHR or Database management experience preferred
- Experience in the field of substance use disorders preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA and 42 CFR Pt 2
- Organizational skills
- High attention to detail
