**Job Title: Inspector**
**Job Summary**:
We are seeking an experienced termite and moisture inspector to conduct real estate inspections and general crawl space repairs inspections.
**Duties**:
- Meet Realtors and clients at homes to conduct termite and moisture inspections.
- Evaluate crawl space wood damage, fungus, and wood destroying insect activity.
- Be meticulous in recording inspection findings and required repairs.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the pest control or crawl space industry.
- A minimum of a registered technician pesticide license.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- The ability to sell and up-sell, while looking out for the client's best interest.
**Pay and work schedule**:
We would be setting 10 or more inspection meetings per week for the inspector. All inspection fees would go directly to the inspector, as well as mileage reimbursement for driving. Which amounts to $1,000 or more in fees.
The inspector receives a 10% commission on all repairs and treatments obtained as a result of their inspections, which would be at least another $1,000 per week.
In addition, the inspector would receive 50% of any annual pest control contract fees, or any pest control services that the inspector performed, such as rodent baiting, or pest spraying.
The inspector would also receive a commission on up-sells such as encapsulation, dehumidifiers, or wood coatings to new buyers, or homeowners.
This is realistically a $150,000 per year job for the right person, with room to grow a residual book of business, or form a team within the company.
