This last pillar of the sustainability strategy is a key responsibility of the Sustainable Finance team. As companies look to future-proof their business in an ever-changing climate and society, they need a partner to structure, advise and support their sustainability ambitions and decarbonization goals. The Global Sustainable Finance team is that partner with more than 60 dedicated personnel around the globe collaborating to ensure the integrity and ongoing innovation of the sustainable finance market.

About the Team

The Americas' Sustainable Finance ("SF") team of currently [6] FTEs provides advisory, structuring and execution of sustainable transactions and solutions (such as green, social, sustainable, sustainability linked) across all of ING’s sectors and products. As the sustainable finance market continues to evolve, the SF team functions as the main entry point between clients seeking ways to decarbonize their businesses, advance their sustainability goals, and structure the right financial solutions to support these goals. The team’s expertise supports regional activities of the Sustainable Value Chains initiative.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare marketing material and client pitches and presentations for sustainable finance products and projects, such as peer analysis, review of sustainability targets, assessment of green and social projects;
- Support the structuring of sustainable finance transactions by collecting and analyzing ESG data;
- Assist with market research and analysis of sustainable finance market data, comparisons of transaction structures per industry, issuer and product types;
- Support internal and external events and preparing content for client newsletters
- Assist with transactional support, data tracking, lenders and investors presentation and review of deal related information, including documentation and investors databases
- Lead the reporting of sustainable finance volume and transactions, track pipeline, keep deals databases and prepare presentations on portfolio and relevant statistics

Qualifications and Competencies:

- You have a BA or BS or a post-graduate degree (sustainability-related or engineering a plus)
- You have 1-3 years of commercial or sustainability-related work experience
- You are proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Power Point most required
- You are fluent in English and communicates effectively on both written and oral basis
- You have a passion for sustainability
- You demonstrate a high degree of analytical competence and organizational skills
- You are dedicated, proactive, ambitious and take ownership

Understanding of banking products, sustainability-related products, ESG ratings and ESG disclosure standards are important considerations. You will work closely with the existing team members, the regional front office teams and with the global network.

Salary Range: $105,000-$115,000
