SUMMARY:
This position includes a wide range of administrative responsibilities including care management and paperwork processing within the children’s mental health division. This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work within a variety of programs and departments.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- High School Diploma
- Experience in mental health setting; knowledge of behavioral health services for children preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Experience in an administrative/clerical capacity required; demonstrated strong attention to detail; familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage and prioritize multiple, often competing, priorities
- Must demonstrate excellent customer interaction, collaboration, presentation, written and verbal communication skills, and effective problem-solving skills
- Must be a team player, patient, and flexible with strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate an understanding of cultural competence and the principles of recovery and resiliency

ESSENTIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

- Physical Exam within the past 12 months indicating you are free from contagious disease/infection to include a tuberculosis test by a qualified health professional
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance
- PA Criminal Clearance
- FBI Fingerprint Clearance
- Successful completion of Act 31 Mandated Reporter training

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: (and other duties as assigned)
- Responsible for the intake referral process including tracking all referrals and scheduling assessments/evaluations
- Responsible for tracking and submitting authorizations to the managed care provider (MCO)
- Run insurance checks (EVS) bi-monthly and for all new referrals
- Conduct bi-weekly authorization meetings with program supervisor
- Maintain accurate spreadsheets documenting progress and outstanding items needed for authorization and compliance
- Participate in Team Meetings, Inter-agency meetings, Supervision Sessions, and agency mandatory training
- Maintain client records according to State Regulations
- Scan and upload documents in the electronic medical record as needed
- Review and approve progress notes; communicate to clinical team when/if corrections are needed; track the submission of paperwork corrections

The employee must occasionally lift and/or more up to ten pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Traditional office environment with opportunity to work remotely from home in accordance with NET policy and Director approval. Travel to other sites, office locations, or outside agencies may be required for training or to attend meetings on an as-needed basis.

WORKING HOURS:
40 hours per week. Typically, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday. Must be onsite at least 2 days a week or more if required by supervisor.
