**Position Summary**:The Accounts Payable Specialist will assist with all forms of financial accounts/transactions within the organization to include the day-to-day processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, daily entry of invoices, and monthly reconciling of accounts and/or reporting to support month-end and year-end closing. Follow Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company procedures to ensure accurate and timely processing.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for assisting with all accounts payable and accounts receivable of our organization, ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
- Process Invoices for all aspects of accounts receivables/accounts payable, including invoice entry, employee expense reimbursements, record vendor invoices, maintain vendor information in Sage Intaact, review and respond to inquiries from vendors, external/internal departments.
- Obtain W-9s for new vendors.
- Reconciling vendor statements and resolving any discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Participating in the month-end close process by preparing necessary journal entries and reconciliation.
- Account Bank Reconciliation: Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records. Identify and resolve any discrepancies or variances promptly.
- Input ERP-Sage Intacct Accounting Software or similar accounting software process payments, generate reports.
- Assist with Special Projects/Reporting as needed.
- Assist with travel/procurement duties when necessary.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, written, oral communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Proven ability to take initiative and achieve results in a fast-paced and changing environment.

**Education/Experience**: Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

**Language Ability**: Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

**Mathematical Ability**: Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Compute rate, ratio and percent, and draw and interpret bar graphs.

**Computer Skills**:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; with emphasis on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent ability in Microsoft office and Box. Excellent proven experience with ERP-SAGE Intacct accounting software is a plus.
