Accounts Payable

  • Preparation, review, and processing of Accounts Payable.
  • Respond to all A/P and exception matters in a timely and professional manner.
  • Preparation and processing of weekly check runs, ensuring timely payments of all vendor invoices, resident refunds (SODAs), as required.
  • ACH payment processing as necessary.
  • Download and manage the American Express and/or Home Depot charges and payments.
  • Review and research daily Positive Pay exceptions
  • Process and print 1099's at year end


Utility bills
  • Monitor and process monthly utilities
  • Third party Compliance billing
  • Build cross entity payable files as necessary
  • Calculate and process corporate split invoices


Property taxes
  • Monitor and process biannual property taxes online
  • Prepare Fee Private Monthly Financials
  • Monitor and expedite invoices on IR dashboard companywide
  • Monitor and close unused Purchase Order
  • Process requests for assignment changes in Payscan
  • Monitor, add and make changes to Yardi Vendors as necessary

General Accounting

  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Support Accounting on audit request

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in A/P and A/R.
  • Basic Math Skills required.
  • Yardi property management accounting software is preferred.
