Tru Earth Environmental Products Inc. is looking for a **Sales Representative** located in Los Angeles, California and start with us on **June 01, 2024**

We are looking for someone who is a dynamic and self-motivated person passionate about advancing the eco-friendly mission by growing the retail business in LA and surrounding areas. You will be involved visiting retail stores, building relationships with key retailer employees, working with distributor account managers. Accountabilities include executing promotions, displays, sampling, events, etc. at retail stores. The key initiatives of the role are to grow retail door count, increase retail velocity, and build Tru Earth brand awareness. **Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Store visits daily in LA and surrounding areas
- Gain distribution at new independent retailers
- Identify and close distribution voids at retail stores
- Secure display programs with retail store and execute the building of displays
- Monitor Account Managers’ promotional calendars
- Oversee retail promotion executions and success
- Report back to Account Managers on executions and success of promotions and activities
- Run events at local retailers and other venues
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue expectations
- Participate in meetings and training sessions, as provided by (or assisted by) Tru Earth; attending industry-related events (travel may be required); staying in formed of new market information, rivalry, innovations, etc.; acting as brand representative on behalf of the team

**Education and Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience working a sales role in the CPG industry
- 2+ years of experience working with distribution partners (UNFI & KeHE is a plus)
- Lived or worked in LA area - knowledge of LA grocery markets

**Key Skills and Competencies**
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Outgoing and personable - ability to foster strong relationships with people in short period of time
- Self-starter that can oversee multiple projects and daily tasks
- Passionate about the environment and sustainable living
- Driver’s license and car (Mileage covered)
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Willing to work nights and weekends (as needed)
- Ability to travel freely across state lines and across international borders (as needed)
- Tru Earth does not accept unsolicited resumes from search firms or employment agencies. Unsolicited referrals and resumes are considered Tru Earth property and therefore, Tru Earth will not pay a fee for any placement resulting from the receipt of an unsolicited referral. At Tru Earth's request only, preferred vendors may be invited to refer talent for specific open positions. In these cases, a fully-executed agreement with Tru Earth must be in place and current._

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
